“I booked a 15-minute photoshoot with James during my day in Edinburgh, mainly because I wanted to do something a little different. I’m definitely not an Instagram person and had no idea where to go or how to pose, but James made it all feel really easy and natural. He was friendly, relaxed and suggested places and poses that suited me. He really went above and beyond to make the most of the time we had, and I’m genuinely happy with the photos. A short shoot, but absolutely worth it!”

Edinburgh has been my home for over a decade, I love stories, I love the architecture an mood of the city, I love sharing the secret spots I know with people - I've been a photographer and tour guide for as long as I can remember, working in a mixture of digital or analogue

Common questions

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

Depending on the service - with every session I try to get a "first sweep" of 10 or so photos done on the day of the shoot so you have something straight away, then the rest will follow shortly after! For portraits, it's usually a week max, and with weddings, the final upload of photos is usually within 4 weeks :)
