I work as a portrait and family photographer, and my camera is my way of seeing your life from a different angle. Many of my clients are interested in lifestyle photos, whether they become part of a photobook or a blog. I am based in Riga, and I speak English, Russian, and Latvian, so we can talk in the language that feels most natural to you. Travel is a big part of how I see the world. Every trip brings new faces, new impressions, new flavours and new favourites, and I carry that curiosity into my work. Music is always with me as well; I put on my headphones and listen to something almost every day, since it keeps my mood up and sets the tone for the day ahead. Good food matters to me too, both eating it and cooking it. I enjoy trying dishes in different countries and returning again and again to the ones I love. For shoots, I often recommend the Old Town. It is a beautiful part of the city, with old buildings, a rich history and many tasty corners that make excellent backdrops for photos.
No — your photographer directs you through movement, not stiff poses. Walking, laughing, turning: the camera catches the in-between moments.
Light rain can photograph beautifully — and if the weather is truly bad, you can arrange a new time with your photographer.
