How Smiler Vets Its Photographers
Every photographer applying to Smiler is reviewed before they appear here. We look at a full portfolio rather than a handful of best shots, check they shoot the kind of sessions they are listing for, and confirm they actually work in Amsterdam rather than travelling in for bookings. After that, the reviews do the work. Every client rates their session and those ratings stay on the profile — we do not filter them. A photographer whose work or reliability drops is contacted, and removed from the roster if it does not recover. What we do not check is equipment or qualifications. A photography degree tells you less about the result than a portfolio and a year of client ratings.
